Idol wipeout is an online multiplayer tech demo made in the Wipeout engine, fitting into the platformer, obby, and rage game genres.

The game showcases modern PBR graphics, with image based lighting, volumetric fog, SSAO, and SSR among the features giving it a modern, realistic look.

Built from the ground up in C++, the game and engine utilise custom animation and entity systems to create fun, engaging, enraging gameplay. Jolt physics library allows complex physical interactions with the world, and the networking allows you to hop in the game with friends across the world.

The Wipeout engine is a custom engine made by 4 high performance graphics masters students at the University of Leeds.
